Parents of children who received schooling aid, such as bags, stationery and books today have expressed their gratitude to the Barisan Nasional (BN) government for its concern to alleviate their financial burden in providing the children’s school needs.
The aid was presented to 350 children in the Libaran parliamentary constituency by Sabah Chief Minister Tan Sri Musa Aman at the Sungai Manila People’s Housing Project (PPR).
Musa in his speech said the government had strived to provide the best form of assistance, ranging from school supplies to scholarships and education centres with a conducive learning environment for the children in the state.
“We do it all for the sake of the success of our children and to reduce the schooling expenses borne by parents,” he said.
