Warisan Sabah’s VP Peter Anthony, Lawyer Given 48 Hours To Surrender To MACC

The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) has given 48-hours for two individuals, including a political leader, to surrender to its office in Sabah to facilitate investigation on the purchase of an oil palm plantation , worth about RM155 million, in the Tongod district in Sabah.

The commission, in a statement today, besides Parti Warisan Sabah (Warisan) vice-president Datuk Peter Anthony, 46, it was also looking for lawyer Michael Persius Ubu, 61, to assist in the investigations.

Anthony’s last known address is House No 20 Taman Cantek Phase 4, Lorong Bunga Dahlia 3, 88200 Kota Kinabalu, while Michael Ubu’s is Lot 8-G, Lorong Rainfield 1, Taman Rainfield, Kota Kinabalu.

“They are given 48 hours to surrender themselves at the Sabah MACC office to assist investigation,” it said.

The MACC also urged the public who knew or with information on the duo’s whereabouts to contact Senior Assistant Superintendent Mohd Tharuzi Mohd Nor at 013-9557850.
